I have found the old stable version and downloaded the files, I just am at a loss when it comes to MAKE INSTALL and all the cryptic stuff that the readme file says I must have. Just a user who liked the old GIMP so much so that I have a boot drive with an old version of linux on it with the old GIMP installed. ![]() Can someone write a tutorial (or just some command line) on installing the old GIMP (2.8.22) onto a new Linux distro, Mint 20? I detest the new GIMP and Im not Linux savvy when it comes to the syntax of MAKE, CONF or even extract commands. ![]()
